Love, Death & Robots er noget helt for sig selv. Netflix seneste stykke animerede underholdning er en antologi-serie, der består af 18 enkeltstående afsnit, der varer mellem 15 og 20 minutter i gennemsnit. Men det er ikke for børn.

Serien indeholder både hardcore vold, hårde sexscener og alt muligt i mellem. Afsnittet, der udforsker et væld af alternative dødsscenarier for Adolf Hitler, er ikke en gang højdepunktet.

Love, Death and Robots dukkeførere er David Fincher (House of Cards) og Tim Miller (Deadpool), der har holdt samling på seriens overliggende temaer, som gennemgående er de samme som fremgår af seriens titel.

De 18 afsnit er alle animerede, men repræsenterer vidt forskellige stilarter, der blander sci-fi, fantasy, horror og komik. Hver episode er let at indtage og svær at glemme, og så indbyder de alle til videre fortolkning.

Sjældent har man set så meget animeret nøgenhed uden at have forvildet sig ind på en eller anden obskur kategori på PornHub. Det er hårdt og ligepå, og til tider ret syret. Men også yderst seværdigt - hvis altså man er et voksent menneske. Love, Death and Robots er ikke for børn.
